    Candidates will undertake:

    • training to gain their underpinning knowledge and skills requirements
    • assessment tasks to test their knowledge and skills
    • workplace projects to demonstrate their learning within a workplace
    • third party verification to confirm

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge. They may manage projects in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. They have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others. Minimum of 2 year’s experience working as part of a project team is desirable.

    Training duration: up to 24 months

    Training Delivery Options:

    • Classroom based
      • Location: The sessions can be arranged to be held at your workplace, our training facility at Salisbury or another appropriate location approved by RudTek.
      • Duration:  The sessions can go for two (2) to eight (8) hours depending on the elements and performance criteria for each unit of competency.
      • Frequency: Every four (4) to six (6) weeks

    You will learn how to:

    • consult with stakeholders and others on developing a range of project management related plans
    • manage own time and priorities and dealing with contingencies
    • assess and manage risk
    • negotiate contracts and solutions to new and emerging issues
    • plan and manage projects in respect to time, cost, quality and resource management
    • produce a wide range of reports and charts to document project progress, milestones and outcomes
    • use electronic communication devices and processes, such as internet, intranet and email to produce written correspondence and reports
    • delegate roles and responsibilities to team for the implementation of project plans
    • implement continuous improvement processes as required
    • design control mechanisms and evaluate procedures
    • calculate resource requirements and acquire them
